MIND

The Psychology & Belief of Success
~
Neuroscience research shows that a majority of our decisions, actions, emotions and behavior come from the 95% of brain activity that is beyond our conscious awareness.  This means that 95-99% of your life comes from the programming in your subconscious mind.  Some
studies even suggest that the subconscious mind processes about 400 billion bits of information per second and the impulses travel at speeds up to 100,000 mph!  Compare that to the conscious mind, which only processes about 2,000 bits of information per second and its impulses travel at 100-150 mph.
~
Why do people ignore that they have two minds?   Are you aware that you have a conscious mind as well as a subconscious mind?  Understanding this and harnessing the power of your two minds is one of the most powerful things you can do as a human being.  It will make you superhuman in appearance to others.  Here are some facts and then I will guide you in harnessing this power.  This is one of the greatest gifts I can give to you in life and I hope you are open to receiving it!
The Subconscious Mind
~
The subconscious mind can process trillions of things at one time, TRILLIONS!!!  As opposed to the conscious mind which can only do a few things at one time.
The subconscious mind processes information a million times faster than the conscious mind.
~
The subconscious only knows one time period, the present, NOW.  The subconscious does not understand past or future it only knows one point in time, NOW, the present.
~
The subconscious does not know "good" from "bad" only the "beliefs" or "truths" it is given for better or worse.
~
The subconscious mind does not know the difference between what is true and what is false.
~
Your subconscious mind is constantly eavesdropping on every conscious thought and conversation you have with yourself or others.  Therefore choose empowering and positive thoughts and actions.
~
The subconscious mind has an infinite hard drive, an unlimited amount of knowledge storage if you will.
~
The subconscious mind is more creative it thinks globally and uninhibited.
~
The subconscious mind controls involuntary functions (especially important to hockey players).
~
The subconscious mind works for you 24/7 for life.  It never shuts off.
~
The subconscious mind makes connections even when you sleep.  It especially makes powerful creative connections and connections to thoughts that you had in a conscious state during the day.
~
The subconscious mind is where our fundamental issues reside often hidden to an individual.
~
The subconscious is like your own genie.  You just have to learn how it works and how to use it.
~
The best way to picture YOUR subconscious mind is like a container of knowledge and beliefs.  You are inside this container.
The Conscious Mind
~
The conscious mind is your awareness at the present moment.
~
The conscious mind is also your imagination and can think about the past, present or future.
~
This awareness could be focused on thoughts, emotions, feelings or our many physical senses.  Something outside ourselves in the physical world or something internally in our mental world.
~
The conscious mind is where we are unless we make a focused effort to "turn it off" and quiet the mind.  This would be what most people understand or call "meditation."
Merging of the Conscious & Subconscious Minds
~
The conscious mind has the will but the subconscious mind has the power.
While your conscious mind is your logical, rational, analytical mind.  The subconscious is your il–logical, ir-rational, non-analytical mind.  It will believe ANYTHING whether it makes logical sense or not. It never questions what you tell it.  So when trying to accomplish goals know in your conscious mind it takes time in the physical world for them to manifest.  However, it is important to program your subconscious mind into believing you have attained them NOW.
~
Think of it this way, when first learning, a person must consciously think about what they are doing.  This is why when we first learn something it takes time and we are slow.  That conscious process, in time and with practice, becomes a subconscious process.  Think of this as our habits and auto pilot, where we can do a task without having to consciously focus on it.  For example, when you first learned to skate you had to focus on what you were doing and really practice at it.  Once learned you are able to do it without even thinking about it.  You formed a habit and that habit became a subconscious mind process.
~
Our current reality is the past finding out.  In order to overwrite the things in your life you are not happy with all you have to do is observe the things that happen to you and for you.  If these things do not align with what you desire then take time in your day to consciously correct them to alter your subconscious minds ways.  You can notice this with things that consistently happen to you. People often ask themselves, "why does this always happen to me?"  To fix these things that may occur in your day, you must revise or alter them.  This revision is rewriting the subconscious mind for more positive outcomes or different outcomes.  This is why you must bring awareness to your life!
Words and Thoughts are a Form of Energy that Connects These Minds
~
Did you know that words and thoughts are made of energy.  These energies go out into the universe with an energetic force.  This has been scientifically proven!  That is why you must be very AWARE and MINDFUL of your thoughts, feelings and actions!!!  Remember your subconscious mind is always listening to your thoughts, feelings and actions.  This is why it is so important to be POSITIVE!
Using Affirmations to Positively Influence Your Subconscious Mind
~
What is an Affirmation?  An affirmation is really anything you say or think.  It is consciously choosing words that will either help eliminate something from your life or help create something new in your life.  Every thought you think and every word you speak is an affirmation.  All of our self-talk, our internal dialogue, is a stream of affirmations.
~
The Subconscious only thinks in the present.  This is important to understand because when using affirmations to get something if you say… “I WILL….(whatever)”, or… “I’m GOING TO (whatever)”, you’re thinking in the future which the Subconscious knows nothing about, and your affirmation will forever remain unfulfilled because it will always be in the future.  The key to making this process work is to trick the Subconscious into believing you already have what you want…NOW (in the present). State affirmations in the present, act and feel as if you NOW have what you want.
~
The subconscious does not know the difference between what is real and what is imagined. That’s what practices like "Mind Power" or "The Law of Attraction" are really about.  If you’re using any of those methods to attract something or change something about yourself, you’re imagining you have done so in the NOW.  The subconscious will never disagree with you or believe you don’t have it or haven’t made the change.

*The most important thing about affirmations is this.  YOU must believe the affirmation you are saying in your heart!!!  If you do not believe the affirmation is true then it will not be.  This is where many people fail.  To be successful you have to FEEL and BELIEVE that what you are saying is TRUE!
The Manifestation Process
~
The truth is whether people realize it or not, YOU CREATE YOUR OWN REALITY!  One of the most important aspects of using these two minds is manifesting whatever you want in life.  YOU CAN HAVE whatever you DESIRE in life and you DESERVE it!  Whatever it is that you DESIRE be it a team to play for, championship to win, job you want, house, car, relationship, money, etc.  Visualize, IMAGINE and describe vividly with your CONSCIOUS MIND what it is you want.  Paint that picture vividly in your mind.  It is about creating the EXPERIENCE you want to have, and what that EXPERIENCE would FEEL like.  It should feel like pure JOY as you are imagining this you should naturally be smiling and maybe even laughing about how WONDERFUL this DESIRE would be!!!  Here's the trick, and where most people fail.  You must truly BELIEVE it's possible from your HEART!!!  This is your FAITH your BELIEF.  Ask yourself in the mirror, if you BELIEVE you are capable of it.  If you BELIEVE that you are and it's an honestly true BELIEF then it will happen for you.   Then go out into the world and work towards that thing you DESIRE.  EXPECT that it is coming to you and KNOW that the proactive work you are doing in pursuit of that DESIRE is bringing it closer and closer to you.  Keep an open mind, work hard and continue to learn new things.  Let that DESIRE live in your HEART as a BELIEF without a doubt in your MIND, and it will MANIFEST for you in this reality.  Remember ALL things are possible through the SUBCONSCIOUS MIND you just have to align the CONSCIOUS & SUBCONSCIOUS MINDS with that DESIRE.   When that which you DESIRE becomes your REALITY you will laugh and rejoice with a huge smile because YOU know that YOU envisioned this, YOU believed it, and YOU made it true!

The Journey is Yours
~
“But I tell them, there’s no such thing as an overnight success.  The way to success is the way of the craftsman, where you work really hard for years.  You show up every day.  You do the work.  You see yourself as an artist dedicated to your craft with a desire to get better everyday.  You put your heart and your soul into your work as you strive for excellence.  You desire to create perfection, knowing you'll never truly achieve it but hoping to get close to it.  You try new things. You fail.  You improve.  You grow.  You face countless challenges and tons of rejection that make you doubt yourself and cause you to want to quit.  But you don't.  You keep working hard, stay positive, and persevere through it all with resilience, determination, and a lot of hope and faith.  Then you make it!  Everyone wants to work with you.  And the world says, "Where have you been?"  And you say, 'I've been here all along, and hopefully getting better day by day.'  To the world, you are an overnight success.  To you, the journey continues."
